About Me
Hi! I’m Vanessa Gillings, a children’s author and illustrator inspired by nature, fairytales, and quiet, everyday scenes. I paint entirely in gouache, using a layering technique I developed and teach in my skillshare class. My illustrations have been featured in coloring apps, children’s clothing companies, and galleries across the country. I currently live in Washington, DC.
